He's doing a lot you don't realize to fill in the gaps left by the other members......lots of double-taps, hammer-on's, triplets, etc.....

Lead bass done artfully, for sure.

It's weird that you only hear the solid notes when you're supposed to hear them, but he really leads into them, doesn't he?

Fucking irreplaceable talent.

Seeing all those Sunn cabinets reminds me of seeing The Who live back in 1979 -1980. I'll never forget the sound of his bass - it shook the gut of every person in that arena.

I love the irony of watching the Ox tear it up on bass, and at the end, people rush up on stage to hug everyone but him.
