Elucidate me on Wah pedals.

So...if they are all basically the same, why so many Artist pedals? Greed and marketing? It seems like there are more Artist Wah pedals than any other single type of pedal.

Well ... If I had the opportunity to work with my favorite musician it's easy to tweak a wah and say it's 'custom' and filled with magic and shit.

Way easier than tweaking a tube screamer clone.

Just curious. Not that I'm interested in an Artist Wah. Although the Jerry Cantrell caught my eye. I have a thing for Brass\Copper.
