They do. I’ve got the Mel9 and I like it for specific types of cheese. And I’ve developed a soft spot for cheesy retro synths over the last few years.

Or you could buy a cheapo controller that accepts USB and use the synths in Garageband.

Synth9 looks cool. I do already have a couple of cool synths and some plug-ins in the studio, so I'm more likely to just use one of those for synth sounds. I have a B9 that I use on occasion. Mel9 is the one I think I'd actually get the most mileage out of.

While those pedals would be fun on a live gig or something like that, I wouldn't use them in the studio - they just don't sound good/convincing enough for me.
Tip for the Mellotron guys: GForce M-Tron Pro vsti. As close as you can get to the real thing.
