Does this sound crazy?

eh, the Radial looks like too many cable runs. The Weber needs an AB switch in conjunction with the amp switcher. This is quickly becoming a pain in the ass rig :)

Yeah, I think it is much easier to just bring 2 amps and switch between them. You put something like a Boss line selector at the end of your board, then run 1 cable from it to each of the amps. Then you are lugging 2 amps around. when I did it, I just bought a decent cart and loaded everything on that for one trip from the car.
 
The Rocket is a cool amp. I've had mine for 20 years. I keep saying I'm gonna sell it, but never do.

I agree. From 1993 to 1999, I basically played Mesa Boogies (Maverick, DC3, 50 Caliber - no Subway Rocket - I never saw any in my neck of the woods, when I went amp shopping). They're great amps, and it's nice to have one again.
