Do you swear a lot and if so, what’s your favourite swear word(s)?

I don’t swear in public. I do use ‘fucking’, but in Scotland that is not a swear word.

I do swear a lot while driving ( alone). Just too many terrible drivers on the road. My most used swear word is arsehole or ‘wanker’, whilst making the ‘wanker’ sign to the driver.

in the car, every 3rd or 4th word. drivers around here are the worst i've seen anywhere in this country, and i've lived in texas, mississippi, georgia, nor-flor, NC, virginia, Pa and Mich.
around here, it's like "buy a box of lucky charms, get a driver's license" :mad:

Let me put it to you in this fuckin' way... I'm the goddamned Roy fuckin' Kent of our family.... so I get the side-eye or exasperated gasps from my wife, daughter, or relative when I call someone a fuckin' asshat and I'm in ear shot of someone's kid or bible clutching grandma. :helper:

I use the following a lot….especially at work, either to myself or around the boss….

Move to the DC suburbs. I guarantee you the drivers here are worse. Combine that with the insane traffic and I swear enough to make a sailor say “god damn you swear a lot” while driving. Other than driving, I don’t sweat a lot. I used to, but when I had kids I stopped. Now they are 20 and 18 and they sweat more than me.

i lived in Winchester and Front Royal Va. i'm aware of the BELTWAY.
but that's DC, same as NYC or Chicago or LA....those are expected.
but out here in the corn and soy fields...i'm mean....put the fucking phone down and look out the WINDSHIELD for chrissakes !!

winchester is a little far from nova and depending on how long ago, it could be completely different. I’m 30 miles from DC and with the number of people on the road, people are always on their phone. I could see glancing at your phone in the middle of nowhere, but when you’re doing 70mph with someone 10 feet in front of you, it’s insane.
 
I wouldn't consider myself an ill-tempered sort of fellow but I must confess I do swear a bit. I collect archaic profanity and enjoy putting it in alphabetic order, or if I'm in a hurry or taken by surprise I try to use alliterations.

I think every city thinks they have the worst drivers at least that’s the general thought according to local Reddit.
We have had massive California transplants since Covid so there’s always sdriving threads however I will say almost every city x Californian says Tucson is worse and or that “ at least they know how to drive in California”…

to our credit we have a mix of old people in the winter , young entitled university students in 80000 dollar cars, airmen you think they are still flying a jet, south of the border, local yokels and summertime temps in cars of 125 or more for folks with broken ac
Plus and this is the main thing… we have no crosstown espressways…. It’s all bumper to bumper stoplight driving to get anywhere and streets destroyed fro hot summers and monsoon rains
 
I can control it, but sometimes a situation calls for a "fuck" or a "son of a bitch". I will supply them in that case.
