Dirty Thursday

Picked up a new box a while back but have not had a chance to really play it until today.

After I initially plugged it in, I thought it had some similarities to the hellbilly. Grabbed that to do and comparison and one thing led to several dirt boxes lined up to play

Initial thoughts on the Sabra: It's crispy. Really crispy. If you need drive tones that will cut, this is the ticket. It's voiced with a lot of presence and high end. I wound up dialing back the tone knob on the guitar because it was hard to dial the pedal in w/ my AC15 with out it being somewhat harsh. There's a lot of gain on tap but it comes at the price of a little bit of noise in the upper portions of the sweep. That said, it definitely gets right into that high strung Iomi tone territory right off the bat...it was impossible not to break into the Wizard after dialing in some tones I liked.

Even though the pedal was a blem, it was still packed in an anti-static bag w/ a pick and sticker.
