This one is only 90 minutes from home.

It is Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus in Lowell, MA. They require all original music for 2 hours and pay a decent amount of money, allow you to have a tip jar and sell merchandise, and give you a meal. Not too shabby. Plus it is a Saturday mid-afternoon gig, allowing plenty of travel time both ways. I could see myself doing this on a bi-monthly basis if they like me.

Lowell is an old mill town that is also the home of Andy M's namesake, Jack Kerouac. I was told that I can do non-originals that are not under copyright; that opens the door for a couple of Wobblie songs, fitting for a mill town.
