I have absolutley no idea what kind of circuit I want to build, but when I saw this on the weekend I knew I was looking at the emblem for the front of the amp.

The answer is obvious.
A Marshall 100 watt Super Lead with built-in attenuator on the back end and DOD 250 on the front.

i could use an EL84 powered amp in the 30 WRMS range with some nice clean chimeyness and up to nice bluesy breakup overdrive, but not all metally. i only require the head, i have cabinets....oh oh oh.....and a built in attenuator and nice and point to point wired with nice high end components.
