Community College Professor Cut Up

My wife has been a professor at our local community college for like 17 years. One of the sister colleges, J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Va. just had a 68 year old professor assaulted, cut with a box cutter in the face, by some female. It hasn't been updated as to if this was a current or prior student. WTF man!!!
 
Thats messed up. We had a teacher suspended at my school for hitting a student who was part of a student demonstration a few weeks ago.
