Co-worker bitch jam.

I've been notationg her time since June 16, and I'm up to 16+ days of absence, not counting her 5 vacation days, but counting late arrivals, long lunches, and early departure.

Since JUNE 16.

So...

That's roughly 50 workdays I've kept track of, and she's missed 16 of them... roughly 32%.

And there are at least 7 full days she missed prior to that, and who the fuck knows how many hours she came in late or left early.

So yesterday we had a 1 1/2 hour meeting with the regional director and all client specialists.

It started off with a discussion about time and attendance, and was made perfectly clear that we are expected to be at work from 8 to 5 with 1 hour for lunch.

Today, bitch shows up at 8:45 and leaves at 11:45 for a doctor's appointment and never returns.

UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE.

She obviously believes either they will never fire her, or she doesn't care. More than likely the latter.

Is she hot? If so send her to NJ for a government job and I can give her room and board until she lands on her feet.

If she is not hot scratch the above and no offense, don't make your problems my problems. Pretend I never asked.

Does she know how the office is spreading her medical problems around and how everyone knows about them? If she ever gains access to this even if her name is never mention you will have a problem. Win or lose, you will have the fight of your life on your hands.

Ding, done, the bitch is gone!

Well, she will be in 2 weeks, anyway.

She put in her resignation today!

Her resigning is probably best, because our budget doesn't get dinged with unemployment or litigation, and we can actuality fill the position as soon as there is a qualified candidate.

It's going to be rough for a few months, I'm sure, because myself and the other Client Specialist are going to have to get caught up on everything that hasn't been done since January, and we're going to have to mend a lot of fences with clients. Still, I couldn't be happier!

So its pretty much the same schedule schedule except now she'll cease to collect a paycheck?
Sounds like a win for Pragescorp!

Sounds like a win for Pragescorp!

Pretty much.

At least now we can walk into work knowing that we'll have to cover everything, rather than scheduling our day thinking she'll be there when she's not.

I've never been happier about a co-worker leaving than I am right now!

I'll "bank" my money that you will hire someone more reliable.

It would be hard not to.

The boss asked me before I left if I had any ideas. I gave him the same name I did 12 months ago when the hiring process began.

"She doesn't have trust and estate experience."

My response was "No, but she's smart, she's great with clients, and she'd show up for work. Surely she could learn enough to do the job."

I'm sure he won't even consider her.

So, tomorrow was to be her last day.

Since she turned in her resignation on August 29, she was out sick on Thursday and Friday, September 1 and 2, and left yesterday at noon, and texted in today that she was still not feeling well and she'd try to come in around noon.

The boss's assistant told her not to bother...just come in and clean out your desk and drop off your keys.

Bitch is officially OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
