Co-worker bitch jam.

No doubt. I'm sure all of her professors were all too familiar with her BS, but probably easier to let her slide than to fail her and deal with even more BS.
That's only if the masters isn't from a good school. My perspective may be skewed because my wife got her two from Rutgers and Columbia.

I don't remember where her Masters is from, but I know her undergrad degree is from Dennison, which is supposed to be a very good school.

I'm not saying she isn't intelligent. I'm just saying she's a horrible employee.

I'm starting to dig the phrase "bitch jam" from the thread title.

Like, "My weekend plans include an all-night, acid-fueled bitch jam." Totally_jammin_out

You're lucky you don't work in the public sector.

The prat other teacher from that job I've just left went off on the sick all the time with "stress" - stress he caused himself by being a useless bell end but stress none the less.

Last year he went off in January, fucked up pretty much the whole running of the department because everyone was having to cover for him. Came back the day before the schools finished up for the Summer as he knew his sick pay would be cut if he didn't and the absence rolled into the holidays.

Took the 6 and a half week holiday and then came back in August on a 2 day fucking phased return for the first 6 weeks!!!

My situation isn't much different.

Her daddy is a doctor, and she has doctor's excuses for all of her sick days.

Our company doesn't have short term disability, so we have something like 60 days of sick leave annually...of course, more than 5-6 sick days per year require a doctor's excuse or it's a negative mark on your review.

At this point, I'm not sure we can fire her without her filing a lawsuit.

Truth be told, my job is easier when she's not here, because I do her work anyway, and when she gone, I don't have to show her what to do.

If I had to guess, management is hoping she'll hang herself so they don't have to do anything. That's the way it works here, and it's not a very good plan.

We have a meeting scheduled tomorrow for an hour and a half.

I have a feeling that our manager is going to micro manage in order to lay down ground rules for the worthless employee.

That isn't going to sit well with the rest of us.

Mojo please for not being fired tomorrow.

@Prages .....must bite your tongue.....must bite your tongue.

mojo for tomorrow. maybe if the manager lays down the law.....she'll fuck up and get terminated and then things will return to better days.

or maybe with a rich daddy, she'll decide it's all too much trouble and quit.

One can only hope.

I think I'm pretty safe, even if I do speak my mind.

I've got 17 years of good reviews in my favor.

I also know I could get a job in another department if I wanted to.

However, I do really enjoy my job, and won't let her ruin that for me.

Job mojo...... It sucks when one idiot causes so many issues and the powers that be won't fire her ass.

So yesterday we had a 1 1/2 hour meeting with the regional director and all client specialists.

It started off with a discussion about time and attendance, and was made perfectly clear that we are expected to be at work from 8 to 5 with 1 hour for lunch.

Today, bitch shows up at 8:45 and leaves at 11:45 for a doctor's appointment and never returns.

UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE.

Just checking in to see if she has been fired yet. To be honest, there are people like her at every job. It sucks. And they don't get fired where I work either. Even the ones that aren't family.

She hasn't been fired, but regional director did tell her that he was going to start putting tardiness and absences in writing on her record.

It only took 8 3/4 months for that to happen.
