Are they for real??


I've got a picture of myself and my brother standing with Sidney Crosby with the Stanley Cup...I can verify that because I was there.....

I've got two pictures that were supposedly autographed that were given to me from ex girlfriends...

One is a Tom Petty signed photo with a certificate of authenticity from All Time Great Authentics,by what looks like a signature of Jeff Boyl,2012..

The other is a pic of Sidney Crosby holding up the cup..The card that came with it says,This hereby certifies that this signature collectable has been examined by one or more CSI experts and it is our opinion that the item is genuine......Signed,David Bullis....

The FBI has investigated autographed baseballs and repeatedly issued warnings that 70% of all autographs are fake. It’s probably the same for everything else. A certificate of authenticity is just a marketing gimmick used to make something seem more valuable than it is.

I guess it all depends on who is authenticating it.

If it is certified by "Jimmy's Autograph Company", it's probably not real.
