Bridges

Common misfit
Let's have some ideas. I have to find a bridge for this Gretsch project and it's tough because of the control cavity placement, the beveled top and the sloped tail.
There's no space for a tune o matic tailpiece so I may be limited to a single post setup.
I kinda like this Schaller 4201 Les Paul trem setup.

For a no-trem style, Gotoh makes one I like.

The original was this goofy Burns unit which, by all accounts sucks ass.

The beveled edge and sloped tail rule out any kind of Bigsby or trapeze tail unless I make some major mods to the body.

I'm looking for some ideas. Anybody?

Les Trem is almost impossible to come by since the family had it's fall out.

That one requires a tune o matic and a stop tail. I don't have room for the stop tail.
It'll either have to lie flat, mount on two posts or....something else.
The control cavity overlaps where the stop tail studs would need to go.

I like having some string length behind the bridge. My preference is a Jazzmaster type bridge/vibrato or a tailpiece like a Casino or Rickenbacker 360.

I could do a trapeze but I'd have to carve a flat spot on the rear end to attach it. I keep wavering on whether that could look right or not.

The Jazzmaster might work but I've never heard much love for that design.
