Boss Fender 63 Reverb GAS

Unsure why I am having GAS now...

Saw Johnny Main and the 44's last night and he was running one. He told me that he loved the way it worked and is a great backup for his 63 tank. The biggest positive was when you back off of the volume knob, the sound gets cleaner just like the tank - woohoo!!! The obvious suck is battery life.

If I pick one up, it too would be used for One Trick as well, I don't play surf music so it would just be blues.

I thought about that one, but ended up getting the Boss FDR-1 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp pedal instead. Then I got the DRRI amp, so the pedal wasn't needed. Now I wish I had gotten the '63 Reverb pedal. Oh well.

Oooo.... I've gassed for that as well. Harkenrider had one for a while. Not sure if he does now, but he brought it to class a few times.

I always seem to gas for what my teachers have.

I remember Tommy having one and working with it. My interest in it is that I don't have to drag the tank all the time.
