Today is my first broken new pedal day. I bought the $20 Donner mini tuner pedal on Amazon. It does’t detect my signal. One of the jacks was loose, so I think it’s probably a bad connection. And I can’t fix it because Donner uses that annoying odd size mini screw that doesn’t come in standard sets of jeweler’s screwdrivers and those screwdrivers are a bitch to find. The only store I’ve ever found one at was Fry’s, but I lost that screwdriver years ago :(
Donner sells through the Fulfilled by Amazon program, so there’s no RMA option. The only option I have is to send it back for an automated refund and order another one. On the upside, at least I didn’t pay $80 for the same pedal at the local store.
