The thing that's cool about the Firkins Tele variation is that he's got a couple and their made with MIM Teles, at least one of which is a Standard. So we're not talking so ridiculous Custom Shop job...makes it seem feasible/attainable for the average player. That said, being able to do what Michael does with it is less so.
 
I like it. I think they coulda done a little more with tweaking the amp on that vid. I bet you could get some killer tone outta that thing.
 
Yeah, I grabbed the first hit off of the youtube. I'm sure that it sounds different through a clean amp with a bit of tweaking.
