Hot or Not? BC Rich Gunslinger

and when you can score them for 50% off, well...
let's just say I wish I'd had a lot more cash on me at the time

I have a custom shop STIII from '87, built by Bernie Jr. himself. Awesome guitar. I was also working at a retail store that carried BC Rich at the time, and I recall 95% of our stock being excellent.

The USA models have always been high quality

There was a dark period in the early 90's when Class Axe ran the show. Custom shop plywood guitars, fake dimarzios, guitars with fake truss rods, bad fretwork, clear-coating stickers and charging for custom airbrushing...it was a pathetically run shop in Jersey and just about ruined BC Rich.

Nice looking axes, but they demand some truly tacky graphics. Like this one that Tony MacAlpine was using back when he was awesome:

I've always hated reverse headstocks. This guitar had the potential to be cool, but they kinda blew it.
