I am not sure why baritone guitars are now electric. I thought the idea behind them was (classicaly) to be the bass/low end when there was no bass in a group (ie mariachi)

The Longhorn is definitely ugly. It's just to show that electric baritones are not a new idea.

I like the Gretsch Electromatic and the PRS SE Mushok baritones. Probably my favorites out there now.
