I would love for local independent radio stations to make a comeback.

We now have a station where the corporates sold the station to some local folk. Instead of classic rock, we get local politics, local new bands, and bluegrass and old country music. I am not a country fan but listen anyway.

We have a local indie station out here called “The Mater”, our county is famous for its tomatoes, and they seem to play a lot of Counting Crows and 90s Sting stuff.

They own a station here in my city.

It’s nice that you have a local independent.
We have one in our area as well with two frequencies. One for Classic Rock and one for Country.

I am fortunate to be in range of one of the last old school stations. They are a bit twisted, but they play a lot of great music you would not hear anywhere else.
