The drum stand went into his leg, though his pelvis, and punctured his bladder. After a rest and promising his Dad to go to the ER after the show, he played on.

srsly though, It's a good thing that he got checked out when he did and everything turned out ok. How you thread a cymbal stand through your thigh, pelvis and into your bladder w/o feeling it is something else.
 
Y'know, I've soldiered on through a gig with a bad cold, cut finger, drunk drummer... you know, the usual stuff.

That was above and beyond, and probably stupid.
