I guess there's a lot of different model #'s, PE-40, PE-80, PE-100, etc.

I don't think I've ever even seen an Aria Pro guitar in person. I remember when I first started playing guitar in 1981 though, I'd see these ads in Guitar World/Guitar Player with Elton John's guitarist, for the Aria Pro II PE. I've always kinda wanted to try one.

That quilt top looks like a fake/reproduction to me.

I am pretty up on those, and I don't recall ever seeing a quilt top, nor those inlays before....

Great guitars, though.....

The old Aria Pro II's are one guitar that are worth as much, if not more than they were when they were new.

I had an early 80's "Thor Sound"/Cardinal series Aria Pro II.....it was a pretty tricked out model that the guy I bought it from put a real, original FR on.....it was neck-through, and weighed about 12 lbs.....I was 15 or 16 when I bought it. Wish I had that one back.....it really was a great guitar.
Mine was strat-shaped, 24 frets, and was one of the upper-end models.

But I was a stupid kid and got rid of it, because it didn't LOOK cool enough.

Mine looked just like this, but had a silver FR, and was transparent reddish instead of the brown color.
