Are song lyrics about Roland the Gunslinger dorky, like Morgoth lyrics?

Jbird

Kick Henry Jackassowski
Here I am, a journeyman
In the dusk of time
On burning sand
I'm walking barren land
With a gun in my hand
On the scent for the man in black
From a life so far away
Night and day
Again and again....

Books about Roland the Gunslinger should be plenty dorky enough for anyone. Writing songs about the character signifies both A) creative bankruptcy, and B) the losing end of natural selection.
