Anyone up for a James Brown-style BT Jam?

I always like the stuff you do.
this is no exception.

Thanks Peeker! :)

Agree with intereresting. Got a Medeski, Martin and Wood + Scofield vibe to it. I liked the groove around 1:30. What are you using to get that nasty bass sound - just whammy and pick?

Thanks!..yeah, whammy and pick. I really like the Gotoh whammy on the Suhr and it kind of encourages me to use it more than I might on the Strat. There's a lot of crap in this take obviously, but I kept it because I was somewhat encouraged to hear bits and pieces in this (and the last one we did) that suggests that something different (note choice wise maybe) is developing in the way I play. I'm slowly getting less reliant on my "stock Page, Blackmore, Schenker, Roth" licks and hearing some different ideas that I can't quite execute in "real time" yet. Another 30 years should do it. Maybe. :embarrassed:

i'm really out of practice but the first 10 seconds of mosiddqi's clip instantly stuck in my head and i wanted to play with it...and i immediately hit stop before i got discouraged. laid this down quickly then rushed back to listen to the rest of mo's piece. dude, it's amazing, i love it.

didn't want to listen to rest lest i got overly influenced. now that i've put up my humble offering, i'm off to listen to the rest of yous guys stuff.

Sweet!

I like the main melody riff you put on there...
