Any of you heading to Texas for the US Grand Prix this weekend?

Nope.

With all that's been going on with me, I have all but completely ignored F1 for a couple of months. Couldn't even tell you which Merc driver leads in the points or who has done what. The announcement that Massa was retiring after The season ends pretty much killed my interest. I'm such a huge fan of the sport, but it stopped being a sport years ago.

The whole FIA can get off my lawn.

Not this year. Last years weather was horrendous, and I thought I was going to get killed on my way to Austin from San Diego last year, but the race itself was a real barn burner. I do plan to attend next year. I want to see the new faster cars hit the track.
