Any Babylon 5 fans here?

I'm a fan. I've watched the whole series several times over.

I recently discovered a fan written prequel to the series called "The Digar Wars". It is a massive novel (4200 pages) covering the Dilgar war 30 years prior to the series. It is good stuff! Whoever wrote it really keeps to the spirit of the show.

It isn't perfect - there are some cringy tropes scattered about, but it is still a great read. Check it out if you are a fan.

I watched most of the original run but checked out before the war ended. I picked it up on Blu-Ray but I haven’t had time to get through it. One thing I noticed was how dark the sets were. It’s dark in almost every room. I’m not sure if that was to set the mood or to cover up how cheap some of the sets and props were.

I watched it back when it originally aired. I remember little except for a pissed-off alien dude saying, “We’ll strike back - and we’ll strike back hard!”
