They make 'em that way, too.
Not sure if that's what makes it a "D" model, but they do make them with a dual humbucker model.

Bucket list- yeah that'd be on their for me, or maybe a Super400, but they are crazy expensive.

The D is a double PU designation from Gibson back then. I have a single P-90 175 from '54 and Gibson made the 175D's around the same time before switching to Humbuckers soon after.
