I'd like to get something like Amplitube, but I'm wondering what options are out there.

Looking for something that also has note-by-note drum programming (not pre-set patterns).

What is the best, in your opinion?

If there are a zillion other recent threads like this one just link me to it.

Guitar Rig sounds pretty good for the amps/effects.
And the new EZdrummer looks fantastic for drum programming.

I have Amplitube. Got a screaming deal on a Stomp IO, and it came with bunches of Atube. Bass sounds spectacular through it. Guitar clean is also spectacular. Any distortion at all, high gain, or just overdrive=horrible.

thanks for the suggestions- I like the Guitar Rig+EZdrummer idea

That profiling amp is a thing of beauty, but I only have 2 amps I'd like to model (one for guitar- '72 Super Reverb, & one for bass- Traynor Dynabass 800+ Gallien Kreuger NEO 410 cab)

I guess I could model the guitar players Marshall half stack, though. beavis0
