Added some P90 goodness to my Telestrat...

I needed to replace the volume pot I cooked when I put it together, so I figured "why not try the SD Phat Cat I have for it?"...I ordered a wiring kit from Allparts, and I spent the afternoon rebuilding it...



On first listen I like it...A LOT!

It balances well with the A2 bridge pickup, and it adds a lot more body than the matching Tele style pick up I had in there...

I think I'll keep it...

I also added a shim to the neck pocket to raise the strings a bit further above the bridge plate (as suggested by @Help!I'maRock! )...and I gave it a full set up...plays like a dream...

I think this is the best guitar I've built...at least to this point, anyway...
