A$$ Pocket Whiskey

DinoMikeSr

I have the box
This is a product Derek Trucks is involved with that comes in 200ml (6.7 ounce ) bottles $42 and up. There commercial has them sitting around talking about keeping good whiskey on you and just pulling it out anywhere to take a sip. It sounds weird and haphazard to me but actually with a clear plan of drinking anytime and anywhere. I’m not anti whiskey, I love bourbon but health wise, I have to leave it alone.

I’d like to try it, because I like to try different whiskeys, but I will never understand the idea of a mickey or a pocket flask.
At least in this day and age. To be fair, I guess, I’m looking at it from a perspective in a car-centric society.

My family has gifted me a couple of custom flasks over the years - kind of novelty-ish types. I’ll never use them.

Use to be able to buy whiskey in bottles about twice the size of the sample bottles you get on planes. Flat and looked similar to some of the little flasks you see in novelty shops.

16 to 19, late 70’s, these were the boots to where in my area. I had a black pair and we would walk around with a little bottle in our boot and think we were bad ass, lol. It was so easy for us to get any type of booze back then.

Umm, where I work it's called a prison pocket and you don't want to drink (or touch) anything that's been stored in there

Also, I thought flasks go in the inside pocket of the leather jacket, no? It's been a minute since I've had occasion to wear my leather jacket or wander about with a flask, but that's how I remember it.

Whoa! I have a pair of those I picked up at one of the local "antique" malls. Dunno what year they are, but my calves are too big for them
