Even when I ate beef, I hated stroganoff...so yes.
I can't abide either the taste or texture of 'shrooms.
It's one of my favourite homey winter dishes. It's also fairly cheap to make and easy to double a batch of for leftovers.

As long as it doesn't snap when you bend it, it's not too al dente.
I like to make my own pasta and a side benefit is that it's never too al danete. If anything it's too easy to over cook.
