A brush with fame (The people you meet in Vegas dive bars).

I was stationed in Vegas. I ran into Don King in the lobby of the Mirage. I said "hey Don!" He briefly looked at me with disgust and walked away.
I went on 10 TDY's to Nellis in the 6 years I was in the Air Force.

Only famous people I ran into were boxers. I met Hector 'Macho' Camacho while strolling around the Caesars Palace casino (he had three gorgeous gals on his arms/following him). I met and talked to briefly Lennox Lewis at a boxing match, this was before he was World Champ. One of my sergeants was playing dollar slots at the Mirage one time, I went up to him to ask how he was doing, and Tommy Hearns was at the next machine over

Also pretty positive that I saw David Crosby waiting for the light to change so he could use the crosswalk, down on the old strip. We were on our way into work from our hotel across town, 6:embarrassed:0 in the morning, and he had a young blonde gal on his arm. If it wasn't David Crosby it was his doppelgänger :embarrassed:

I've had Eric Idle reply to a few of my tweets. And @Mark Wein has "liked" a few things I've said on here.

I'm ready for death.

Muhammad Ali
Lawrence Taylor (We drank together)
Richard Gere
Larry Holmes (He took my wallet)
Sylvester Stallone (Looks like a million bucks off the screen)
Robin Williams

Had Wayne Brady spit on me while he was wearing drag- but didn't get to talk to him. (Yes that's a true story)

The way I state "Wayne Brady spit on me while he was dressed up in drag" sounds more interesting then the actual story.

I had front row seats at Kinky Boots on broadway. He happened to be the lead role. There he was on stage - wearing thigh high boots and a dress with makeup and a wig singing. As he sang his spit was spraying us.

Because this was a package through AMEX Card Member Services we got to go back stage behind the scenes after the show. He and a few others from the show were there to answer group questions. Most of the questions were directed towards him and I actually felt bad for the other actors who were there as he was getting all the attention. I didn't ask any question but wanted to ask if he felt sexy to himself wearing women's clothing. Girlfriend wouldn't let me.

I think I posted about the experience on another thread some time ago.
