Back Story
In 1996 Marsha and Ron Kayfield of a Philadelphia based Music company, Arpeggio Music, as a novelty decided to build the first ever Klingon guitar called the "Bird Of Prey". It was inspired by the Klingon ship the “Bird of Prey” from the TV series Star Trek.

We obtained permission from Viacom/Paramount, to exhibit our guitar at sci-fi conventions to survey the fans for possible mass production.

After a couple conventions we met a few of the actors from the Star Trek series. The actors pictured, out of makeup, are well-known by their fans and are seen here playing our "Bird Of Prey" guitar. J. G. Hertzler (left) played General Martog and Robert O’Reilly (right) played Gowron. We remember them saying to us, 'We need to use this on our next movie!!" We don't know how to say it in Klingon but we know they really liked it.

This instrument was handmade in the USA by us and is the only one of its kind in the world! The Klingon Bird of Prey comes with a hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.

First off, it's one of a kind because nobody was clamoring for one of their own, or at least willing to pay for one. Secondly, what part of it would someone question it's "authenticity" and how would a certificate of authenticity make it more authentic?

It looks pretty sharp like a spade shovel. One could use the guitar to dig the hole to bury that ugly thing. Bury it deep enough that no animal could dig that POS back up.

Ugly ass guitar.

Could scootch across that around uranus and wipe away klingons and it still would still be ugly.
