Awful headstock and awful oversized logo.

There was a Strat on the local CL last month.that had the logo on it. Looks like that logo would run my arm raw.

Do you always jerk your guitar off, or just on special occasions?

With most of the others regarding the need to remove the intrusive logo, but otherwise it's not a bad-looking strat. I agree that the price is too high (given the fact that it's essentially a partscaster), but if it were at least $500 less, it would be something I might look at. I've never played a 70s strat and have to admit to some curiosity.

Get rid of the Fender amp nameplate, make it a hardtail, and then I might consider it.

I love the look of ash and maple, but I'd pass on that one.
I could do a partscaster cheaper and better.

Mine would be
Relatively light hardtail swamp ash body
Medium C profile, 9" radius, med jumbo frets, maple board, standard headstock.
B/W/B pickguard.
I'd prob go with a set of Lawrence/Wylde L45s, black covers.
