I'm not sure if they were making the tapered neck back then....I thought they only did either the 50' or 60's profile. Idk though...If it has a slim taper neck profile, absofuckinglutely...
I have found that putting a bone nut in greatly has helped my Les Paul stay in tune...ymmvBased on past Gibson experiences, sounds great, play a chord sounds fine, play same chord again, out of tune. Tune up, play a different chord, sounds great, in tune, play it again, out of tune................................ect.
So for me, no.
I'd take it....even with the tort...ughyes. Of course it would get a tort guard
If it has a slim taper neck profile, absofuckinglutely...
I've played a couple Artists over the years and always like the feel...were I looking for another LP type guitar I would definitely consider one...You should try my Ibanez Artist. It's the best Norlin LP ever with the perfect slim taper neck.
Ultra-meh. Be a real man and get a Hamer.
