5 Essential Gig Etiquette Tips

we actually had a small fracas happen in our local scene over #5 a few months back.
as it turns out, it was a good thing for (though I wasn't even there), as I got a new song out of it

since we usually headline our gigs, I'm always there till the end. I AM the end
occassionally, we miss the opener though, which I always feel shitty about, but it's usually because one of the other guys is working.

So glad I don't need to go through that nonsense on multi band bills anymore.

Gig etiquette for wedding DJs (or rather, venue co-ordinators): There's 1 of me setting up a reasonably complex lighting and sound rig, there's 10 of you putting clean linen on tables - yes you will complete your task way before me, no I won't rush to get set up on account of this.
