2001 Dean USA Time Capsule Z Limited Edition Trans Cherry #40 of 50 guitar.

I hate to sell this guitar, it sounds so fantastic and has amazing resonance--hit a chord and you can feel the whole guitar vibrate. But, Dean had to put the really thin V neck on this guitar, and I prefer much thicker necks (Gibson 50s, Dean 'C', etc.). I kept it for a long time purely based on the fantastic sound, but that neck is just too thin for me near the first few frets...

Bridge pickup: Bare Knuckle Pickups Warpig Ceramic
Neck Pickup: Dimarzio Liquifire
Pickup rings changed to black
Speed knobs changed to black
Grover tuners changed to locking Grover tuners (drop in change, no holes drilled)

I'm not sure what the pricing is on a USA Dean, but I'd imagine that's not a bad price at all he's got on it.

Not a fan of the headstock and the explorer style isn't for me but I'm sure it's a nice player.

I've actually always liked them, even the Dean headstock doesn't look all that huge on an explorer shape.

Almost does it for me......but not quite.

I don't like the tailpiece or the black knobs/pickups on it.
Headstock actually suits this guitar, though. I'll give it that much. And I do like the color.........so......almost.

It's probably worth that much, and I am sure it is a fine guitar.
