Victoria is a gorgeous tiny little city, scenic, great food, great beer, superb used bookstores, terrific entertainment in the summers, and within a couple of hours of gorgeous rainforest, beaches, spots for surfing or paddling, etc., or for short ferry trips to Vancouver or to Seattle.

That said, it apparently has a band that Jbird likes.
