There is no reason for a H H H pickup strat.

FWIW, those are the original double cream Super Distortions, made when nobody else was deliberately making double cream pickups.

The strings can't truly align over the pole pieces because Dimarzio hadn't made f-spaced pickups yet.

Buy it, sell the pickups as vintage, drop in a new pickguard and pups.

I dislike this on many different levels. I hate the vintage fender fret size, the 7,25 inch radius neck, the three bolt neck joint, and those awful looking pickups.

I have a guitar equipped with a DiMarzio SD from that era and it sounds amazing. The only use I can see for this guitar is to rip those out for three guitars. Then pop a guard with three singles back onto it.
