Hot or Not? 1979 Gibson "The Paul" in Walnut

I own one of these, 1980 though.
Swapped out the pups - Bill Lawrence L90 for Rhuythm and Dimarzio Super Distort in lead and reworked the electrics.
LOVE this axe!
Use it a lot.

Has it refretted (third refret if that tells how much I play it) with the most jumbo frets I could find and the graphtec nut.
Grover tuners...

Yeah, this thing can rock.. or cry the blues or anything you want.
AND it has sustain out the ......

You get used to it. It felt normal to me until I got my standard and I still kinda like it.

I think most guitars are that way. Funky when it's new, then you get used to it and it's no big deal.
