Jerry Jones guitars are fantastic, and I've played a few of his electric sitars. They are pricey for being what amounts to a novelty/niche item. That being said, I converted a Danelectro to an electric sitar last year and it's fun to play. I've used it on a couple of sessions, too.

I see no long term use for me, but whenever I see one of these I realize I really need to learn the solo to the Dan's Do It Again. Great bit of music that. Might be the best justification for the existence of the Corals. Real sitars are plenty cool.
