100 most beautiful cars of all time......

They seem to have a vastly different idea of what constitutes beauty than I do. A Countach is a dramatic statement — a visually arresting iconic design, utterly striking, and it's certainly gorgeous in its own way, but classically beautiful? An Audi Sport Quattro? A '73 Pontiac?

"75. 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A: The road-racing variation of Dodge's first pony car included side pipes, loud graphics down its flanks and a flat black snorkel hood to feed the 340-cubic-inch V8."

Sorry, but the '70 AAR 'Cuda is/was better looking than the T/A Challenger. And the '70 'Cuda in general was better looking than a '70 Challenger :embarrassed:

To me, the 1950 Mercury was (and is) the absolute apotheosis of auto design totally divorced from practical consideration and focused solely on aesthetics.

That's an odd list I agree

For me the Jaguar Type E class is maybe the most beautiful looking car of all. But no late 50's Corvette? WTF? I love that look a bit more than a Ford Fusion
