In 1985 when PRS came to market, the trend was largely opaque guitarswith decals. PRS took the opportunity to market classic, traditionalstained finishes that highlighted the natural beauty of the tonewoods."Our goal is to use colors that bring out the very best visually thatthe wood can offer, just like our pickups bring out sonically the verybest the wood offer," Higginbotham continues. Today, there are more than7 color options offered through PRS's Core and SE lines.

Lovely bit of guitar right there. Transparent purple showing some nice wood grain (even ash) is one of the few instances of the acceptability of purple as guitar color.:thu:

More importantly, Happy Birthday!

Is this your gift to yourself?

Ok, because it's your birthday I am going to say I like it

Seriously, the purple finish is the only thing I dont really dig, the guitar is lovely
