yea, i've owned a number of them and the only real complaint i've ever had of them is that they're a bit of a bitch to change strings. the grommets keep popping off before i can get enough tension on the string to keep it in place.

for those commenting about not liking the gold hardware, FYI the late 50's and 60's ES 345's and ES355's ONLY came with gold hardware. if you wanted nickle plated hardware, you'd need to get an ES 335.
just sayin'
