Fingerboard inlay fail!

If someone gave me this guitar, the first thing I'd do would be to sand the neck. Same thing with yesterday's GPOTD too, actually.

Otherwise, I mean, I wouldn't lust over it, but I kinda dig it, and I would totally play it in public as often as possible.

Ibanez George Bensons are cool guitars, but the cheesy goldleaf finish is a big turnoff to me.

The guitar itself is probably killer. But I just cannot get past the hideous (and that is being generous) finish and the bad inlay.

It is ugly. It is also most likely an exceptionally well made guitar. It also has some collectability as a rare artist signature limited edition. I don't want to own it.
