Strandberg Javier Reyes

Features a baritone hybrid mixed scale of 28.75″ – 28.66″ on the 8th and 7th string and 25.5″ – 25″ on strings 6-1, and a patented Intersecting Plane Neck Profile licensed from Rick Toone.

Needs more strings.

But seriously, I'm surprised it doesn't have one of those bars that capo the lower 2 strings at the 2nd fret. What was the one several years ago that did that? Anyone remember?

Something Kabuki bass I think.

I actually really like these, although I'd certainly never have use for one.

That's my thought on these as well.

I really like their execution of the headless guitar with a fuller body, but I can't imagine contributing anything worthwhile to the world of music with an eight string. I do enjoy Animals as Leaders, so I know it can be done. Also Levin and others have done wonderful things with the Chapman stick (obviously different instrument, but with some similarities)...it's just that I can barely do anything (if anything) worth listening to on a six string.
