Robert Ruck 2009 Composite Top with Madagascar and Cedar

We have just received this outstanding instrument, and we will provide photographs and a more thorough review soon. Meanwhile, we can say that it features Robert Ruck's composite top design made with Western Red cedar, gorgeous Madagascar rosewood back and sides, an elevated fingerboard, Rodgers tuning machines, and a 650mm scale.

This superb instrument is in excellent condition with only some minor playing wear on its french polished top.

This guitar includes a Calton travel case.

He has a good rep....but the pricing is outrageous. I am not familiar with the composite top thing either aside from knowing what it is, and I wonder why it would be desirable in a world class classical instrument.

I would have to play it, but it has all the right attributes for a stellar classical axe. A very well made classical is about as good as it gets in guitar-dom for me.
