Collings D2H T

Today we’re excited to announce the new Collings Traditional Series! With the Traditional or “T” series guitars, Bill Collings has employed new construction and voicing techniques to craft Dreadnought and OM style guitars that possess a strong fundamental tonal response characteristic of vintage guitars from the 1930s. T series guitars are built using animal protein glue and a very thin all-nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the body, making them exceptionally dynamic and responsive. With warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, as well as a quick attack and strong projection, the new Traditional guitars provide a great new tonal compliment to the sound of our current Dreadnoughts and OMs. Each Traditional guitar will also come with one of our new handmade Collings cases! These cases have been designed by Bill to combine the light weight and beautiful aesthetics of vintage cases with a robustness and strength that could only be achieved by being hand built here in the Collings shop.

Lovely. I would love to get my hands on a Collins, but unfortunately I have never seen one in any shop where I have been.

VERY nice, but I'd hope it doesn't have a V-neck (it kind of looked like it did in the photos). I don't like V-necks.

Gorgeous. Killer bluegrass instruments. Not the sound I like in my own acoustic, but they are designed for the needs of a different kind of playing. Not to say I don't WANT that - I do. I mean - it's a Collings!

Gorgeous! The only thing that bugs me is the string break across the nut on the E strings. I could live with that, though.

Super sweet guitar. I so want it, but know that it's well out of my price range...which I've decided is hence forth less than $1,000.00 for any instrument.

It's nice, but a steel-string acoustic is the last thing I need. Besides a banjo :embarrassed:

It is probably an excellent geetar, but , as noted above, I too have no love for dreadnaughts.
