Vox 12-string 1960s

Wow! Hard to find in this condition.

All functions work but instrument is being sold as is due to age.

We did a nice set up on it and got the action nice and low!

Sure are a lot of knobs and switches on that guitar, Walter.

It is pretty wild.
I bet you could smoke a joint and play with those settings for hours......

I kinda dig it.
I'm sure the built-in effects sound great, too.

that said, I'd give it a go.
it's weird enough

It's pretty crazy, but I like it. I have no use for something like that, but I bet you can get some jangly guitar sounds from it.

I played a Vox Ultrasonic with all those buttons and gadgets. Cool guitar but a nighmare to troublshoot if anything went wrong with the electronics. The effects are pretty cheesy sounding too. I'm not a fan of the psychadelic stuff.

Oh hell yes. I'd LOVE to play this.* I've always wanted to check out a Vox Teardrop, and I'd especially like to play a semi.

*Though, because it's a 12-string, I'd never own it, never tune it, and never string it.

You do realize, that is a 12 string electric banjo. :embarrassed:

Looks like something Dr. Seuss would play.

I like the guitar for its crazy knobs and tremolo bar (?) Not wild about the shape.

Changing the subject slightly... I've posted this project before:

A friend of mine in high school 25+ years ago was gonna fix it up. He lost the original bridge. I took the guitar to a music store to find a replacement. This is what they came up with:

I've been wondering what kind it is. I think it matches the Vox seen in here.
