That's nice. WTF is wrong with the veneer on the headstock, though? It looks like the finish is peeling off.

I have two Tacomas. One (a DR12) has the same finish issue. Apparently, Tacoma applied the finish before the wood had seasoned, or in a place where the humidity was too high, or something, but that is a very common issue with older Tacomas. My other Tacoma (EM9) was my #1 for a long time, but now needs a neck reset, and has been sitting in a case for years...

I like it a lot. Looks like it might have decent acoustic vol and cutting power. Would definitely give it honest consideration if I wanted an acoustic archtop.
And 13 is normal med ga for acoustic, 12 is light, 11s are x light.
