I like a lot of Guilds. Not this one. I think it is mostly the burst, and the tailpiece is gaudy.

There's a fine line between a great looking fire burst and a hideous clown burst. That one looks good, at least in the picture. I like this kinda burst, if well done. I had a Fireburst Ric 4003 that was beautiful, also a fine looking Gibson Nighthawk back in the day. But most aren't so well done and indeed derserve the clownburst designation.
